- I grew up in Tacoma, Washington, went to college in Seattle, spent a couple of semesters at the Fashion Institute in Los Angeles, Worked for Xerox for nearly 5 years, quit my job to represent a photographer, took up representing makeup artists hair stylists and fashion stylists after the photographer fired me, wrote a book to help freelancers make money behind-the-scenes, created a workshop for freelancers, wrote 30 DAYS AT 100 PERCENT: CHANGING YOUR LIFE 30 DAYS AT A TIME in March of 2009.
